This low-profile and lightweight dovetail plate slides directly into the Arri BUD-1 on the Arri Alexa 35. It allows the user to mount any dovetail plate to the camera cage, only adding 1/8" in height and 115 grams to the camera build. It is profiled to match the bottom of the BUD-1 and has 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threaded holes for mounting.
No need to purchase all of the different SAM Plates, this fills the need for the SAM-5, SAM-6, SAM-7, SAM-8, and SAM-9 Plates!
This Plate is also compatible with the Sony Burano Camera Cage by Bright Tangerine!
Machined out of 6061 aluminum and hard anodized black.

Works like a charm. Very light weight but, solid. I use it to quickly get the Arri on and off the motion control robot.
